Basically, Geocaching is like treasure hunting and Orienteering combined. A hand-held GPS is needed, and a set of coordinates. The coordinates lead the seeker to a 'cache' location, sometimes called ground zero, or GZ. Once at GZ, the seeker looks for a small container which is hidden and/or camouflaged. The container, called a Cache, will have some small toys and a log book. Those finding the cache are invited to sign their name and the date on which they made their find. They can take a small toy if they bring a small toy to trade - marbles, small pins, army men - that sort of thing.
