HARPER
What’s your favorite thing about Flaming Pine? It is the feeling of community that comes with being around other Christians who love and care about me (and all other FPYC goers😉). What is the #1 thing on your bucket list? To publish a book! What book or movie has had a major impact on how you approach life? “Into the Wild” by Jon Krakauer. It has helped me realize how to take advantage of adventure and how people can be connected by stories. What’s your favorite song to sing at camp? OBVIOUSLY Awesome God! I love seeing campers and staff alike really get into it each week! Why did you chose to return to counsel another year at FPYC? Because I love being able to talk to other young women about life and their faith! There is so much to learn from the campers! Oh, and to see the northern lights again. I can’t wait to be back for another summer :) |

What is your favorite activity at camp? Definitely multi-ball, it puts a fun and exciting twist on a sport I love to play. Favorite camp food? Poppyseed chicken is always what I look forward to having every summer. Any vacation destinations you have on your bucket list? I would love to visit Singapore someday. Favorite sport? Basketball for sure. Why did you choose to counsel at FPYC this summer? I’ve always looked up to my FPYC councilors as role models, and I have always wanted to counsel myself and be part of other Christians' journeys. |

What is your favorite activity at camp? My favorite activity at FPYC is the awards ceremony at the end of each week Favorite camp food? Poppy seed chicken- we don’t get it every week obviously, but I like the weeks we do. Any vacation destinations you have on your bucket list? My dream travel destination is Rome. Favorite sport? Basketball Why FPYC this summer? I chose to come back to counsel because of the loving Christian environment and the wonderful people. Can’t beat it! |

What is your favorite thing about FPYC? I’m a big fan of the random stuff we do during swim periods/crafts. What’s your favorite camp food? Poppy seed chicken! Bucket list travel destination? Banff or Katmai national park Favorite sport? Snowboarding. That’s a sport right?! Why did you choose to counsel at FPYC this summer? FPYC has been a part of my summer since I can remember, and I just love the idea of keeping the tradition going with another year. |

What is your favorite thing about FPYC? How peaceful it is, and being around amazing people all day. What is the #1 thing on your bucket list? Right now, I'm working to be an au pair in Italy! What’s your favorite movie? The movie "Life is Beautiful" If you had to pick a favorite camp song, what is it? That's hard, but maybe "Highways and Byways." It's fun how obnoxiously long it is. Why did you choose to counsel at FPYC this summer? I have planned to counsel at some point since almost as soon as I started coming to Flaming Pine. camp itself is so much fun, and Counseling will give me an opportunity to get more experience in childcare. Can’t wait! |

What book or movie has had a major impact on how you approach life? Where the Wild Things Are If you had to pick a favorite camp song, what is it? Faithful Love. Why did you choose to counsel at FPYC this summer? Its something I've always wanted to do and the opportunity worked out this summer and I couldn't be happier. |
