Geocaching is like treasure hunting and hiking combined. A hand-held GPS or connected smart phone and a set of coordinates is all you need. The coordinates lead to a specific location, sometimes called ground zero, or GZ. Once at GZ, you look for a small container which is hidden and/or camouflaged. The container, or "cache", will have some small toys and a log-book. You are invited to sign your name and the date on which you made the find. You can also take, leave, or trade a small toy - marbles, small pins, army men - that sort of thing. Finally, you re-hide the cache just as you found it.
